Kite Rates in Lahore
Kite rates in lahore for Basant 2026 has become a moving target. Because the government hasn't fixed a retail price cap, shopkeepers are charging whatever they want. We are seeing 1.5 Tawa Guddas that used to be Rs. 200 now being sold for Rs. 700 or more. It’s not just inflation; it’s a "loot cell" run by middlemen who are hoarding stock to squeeze every rupee out of the common flyer.
Approved Gudda Size
As per 2026 -government provided- kite SOPs and regulations, a 'Gudda' must not exceed 40 inches in width and 34 inches in length. Any kite (gudda) above 1.5 tawa could land you in legal trouble.
